Welcome to Indigo Island Candle!

Hello! Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Deborah Holland.  My life is filled with a love of skin care, health, wellness and everything that shimmers. It’s no surprise that my career field choice includes studying the histology and physiology of the skin.  

I have 20 plus years with a professional background with skin care, makeup artistry, retail management and am a certified Esthetician.  It was a continuing dream of my best friend and me to open an apothecary store one day.  Unfortunately, he became very ill.  Through his long treatment, his skin became very sensitive to commercial products.  It was at that time I diverted all of my efforts in creating natural products that he could use during  his treatment process.  He was very thankful for the items I was able to create.  He had expressed that he wanted me to continue on with our dream of creating an apothecary store. Sadly, shortly after I began creating our dreams, he succumbed to his illness in 2015.  

His inspiration was a driving force behind the creation of an on-line apothecary website and the formulating of natural products, eliminating as many chemicals, parabens and synthetics as possible.  Our goal is to offer esthetically pleasing and more natural solutions for an affordable skin care regime.  Offering cruelty free, fair trade, sustainable harvested ingredients and vegan friendly products.  

This is the cornerstone and humble start of Indigo Island Candle.
